CAPITAL PROJECT

After completing their campus master plan, CSArch is working with Academy of the Holy Names to plan and launch one of the largest capital projects in its 134-year history. The $2.5 million project will enhance and expand the facility to prepare young women to be high achievers and leaders in their careers, communities, and society.

North Classroom Wing

A new classroom wing was construed to house general classrooms, a technology classroom and a physics lab, equipped with mobile lab tables for hands-on learning and modular desks for lecture-based lessons.

Main Entry and Building Facade

The new entry will provide uninterrupted sightlines to the parking lot, giving better control over visitor entry. A glass-enclosed entry corridor will replace the breezeway and provide an enclosed courtyard protected from street view.

Learning Commons

The learning commons will function as a comfortable environment to support team-based learning on various projects. Floor to ceiling glass walls will promote transparency and highlight the space.

Project Scope

Phase 1 of the capital project includes cutting-edge classrooms, a fully equipped physics lab and state-of-the-art technologies that will provide new opportunities for students to collaborate and innovate, as well as a vibrant gateway to showcase the beauty of the campus.

The main entry and building façade will be enhanced with a bullet resistant covered glass-enclosed corridor that will replace the current breezeway. The new lobby will offer uninterrupted sightlines to the parking lot, which will enhance security and safety with improved control over visitor entry. The enclosed courtyard will establish a modern and inviting front door to the campus.
