Partnering with Design Architect Fawley Bryant, CSArch is thrilled to serve as the Architect-of Record on the $60 million Baseball Stadium Complex project at Binghamton University. Announced at a BU press conference yesterday, the complex will be made possible by an anonymous donation – the largest gift in the college’s history.
“It’s an honor to be part of this unprecedented project that is sure to positively impact the entire campus at Binghamton University,” said CSArch Project Manager Bill Pennock. “In collaboration with Fawley Bryant and BU, we will deliver a world-class baseball complex.”
A Florida-based architecture firm, Fawley Bryant specializes in sports facilities, having worked on the Atlanta Braves spring training complex, IMG Academy Fieldhouse, and the Gatorade Sports Science Institute. The CSArch-Fawley Bryant team is working in collaboration to bring the project to reality.
Upon completion, the new complex will meet NCAA requirements for hosting post-season tournament play. Upgrades will include a revamped stadium with increased fan seating and an 84,000 square foot indoor training facility with a clubhouse and turf baseball infield, as well as locker rooms, batting cages, offices, study spaces, and an athletic training room.
The project will begin in the next few weeks and is expected to be completed in time for the 2021 baseball season.
